Michael Caine Becomes Harry Brown

Michael Caine has accepted a role as a former soldier in Harry Brown.

Actor Michael Caine has accepted the part as the main character in the British thriller, Harry Brown, according to Variety.

Caine will be play an aged veteran and actress Emily Mortimer (Shutter Island) will play a police officer.

Daniel Barber, who was an Oscar nominee for his short film The Tonto Women, will direct the upcoming project.

The screenplay will be written by Gary Young, who was part of the screenwriting duo for The Tournament.

After he played the role of Alfred in The Dark Knight, Michael Caine’s next film to hit the theatres will be Is There Anybody There?  The release date has not been confirmed.
