The National Enquirer has gotten a hold of excerpts from the upcoming Lynne Spears book, Though The Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family in a Tabloid World.
In the book, Lynne reveals that Britney began to drink alcohol at the age of 13. She adds that Britney, who had professed that she was saving her virginity for marriage, had her first sexual encounter at the age of 14 with an 18-year-old college football player.
According to the book, Britney began using drugs at 15 while she was in Los Angeles recording her first album. One year later, Spears was caught with cocaine and marijuana in her suitcase.
