The singer, who played Daisy Duke in the film The Dukes of Hazzard and also appeared in the films Blonde Ambition and Employee of the Month, admits that she’s lost interest in the film industry because her films were flops, reports FemaleFirst.
Simpson said, "I’m not closing that chapter of my life by any means. But I am all about the music right now. When it comes to acting, it’s got to feel right for me at this point in my life."
The star added that she would accept a film role if it had an incredible director, a good production team, was filmed in a good location and had a great cast. For now, she wants to continue to focus on her music.
