Details on Coldplay’s Next Project

Coldplay has confirmed the release date of their next album featuring leftover songs.

Members of the band Coldplay have decided that they are going to release leftover songs that were not included on their Viva la Vida album.

According to a report from RollingStone.com, Chris Martin revealed that the group plans to release a new disc entitled, Prospects March or Prospects Songs, on December 26.

During an interview on the BBC with host Steve Lamacq and R.E.M.’s Michael Stipe, Martin confirmed rumours that the recording sessions with producer Brian Eno were very fruitful and that the group recorded enough material for two albums.

The singer said that the disc, which is set to release in December, will feature the leftover tracks. The group also hopes to release new material before the end of 2009.
