Vadim Perelman To Direct Poltergeist

In all likelihood, Ukranian director Vadim Perelman will be remaking the film Poltergeist.

The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Vadim Perelman (The Life Before Her Eyes, House of Sand and Fog) is in negotiations to direct the remake to the horror film, Poltergeist.

Juliet Snowden and Stiles White, the screenwriting duo behind The Need, will be rewriting the script of the 1982 classic thriller.

The original version, which was co-written by Steven Spielberg and directed by Tobe Hooper, told the story of a family up against evil spirits that were after their little girl.
