Billboard.com announced that the group The Smiths will release a special edition two-disc anthology on October 7, entitled Hang the DJ: The Very Best of The Smiths.
The regular version will include 23 songs in chronological order, starting with Hand in Glove and ending with Last Night I Dreamt That Somebody Loved Me.
The special edition comes with a bonus disc offering material such as, alternative versions of This Charming Man and Pretty Girls Make Grave, and concert performances including Handsome Devil, Meat is Murder, What’s the World and London.
The Best of Vol 1 was the group’s best seller in the United States since its release in 1992.
