According to a report from FemaleFirst, 12 extras who worked on Cruise’s upcoming film, Valkyrie, are suing the star and his company with allegations of work-related injuries on the set.
Last year, during the shoot of the film in Germany, 12 extras were injured, ranging from a simple cut to broken bones, when one of the side panels of a military truck became detached.
All of the hurt actors were transported to the hospital, where they were treated. One of them had to be kept under observation for four days.
Ariane Bluttner, the attorney representing the actors, claims that the truck was not properly secured. She stated, "The studio knew the trucks were not safe. There had even been an internal memo about the railings."
