Annie Lennox Takes a Medical Break

Singer Annie Lennox will undergo physiotherapy for the next six months following her surgery.

ContactMusic.com reports that Annie Lennox will learn to walk on her own again, with the help of a six-month therapy treatment following spinal surgery.

Last month, the former Eurythmics singer underwent back surgery after experiencing back problems in Mexico.  She quickly returned to England to have medical tests.

Doctors decided that surgery would be needed to correct the 53-year-old singer’s pinched nerve.  Lennox explained, "I can now walk again slowly, without the drag, but it’s going to take at least six months of physiotherapy before I start to walk more normally again."
