A source told UsMagazine.com that the actor’s wife, Lisa Niemi, planned a party for him last Sunday (August 17) in Chicago, where he is filming the television series, The Beast.
The following day, on his actual birthday, the Dirty Dancing star was having lunch with Niemi in his trailer, when his colleagues surprised him with a cake and decorations. Several fans also showed up to wish the actor a good birthday.
Swayze, who announced that he had pancreatic cancer last March, has been working long hours daily on the set of The Beast.
