According to Variety, the actor will star in and produce the Columbia Pictures comedy.
The story revolves around a father and a son who do not get along. Coincidentally, they will each become fathers to newborn sons, and will be forced to go through fatherhood at the same time.
The director behind the set of You Can Count On Me will rewrite the script, based on the concepts of Ian Deitchman and Kristin Rusk Robinson.
Ashton Kutcher can also be seen in the drama Personal Effects, alongside Michelle Pfeiffer and Kathy Bates. The release date has yet to be confirmed. Next year, he will be starring in another comedy with Anne Heche entitled Spread.
