DeGeneres and her actress girlfriend Portia de Rossi are planning to marry in California this weekend, reported UsMagazine.com.
The couple will have a small ceremony with friends and family only.
When the Supreme Court of California ruled that same sex partners had the right to marry, DeGeneres announced on her show that she planned to marry her longtime girlfriend.
The talk show host stated, "It’s something that we’ve wanted to do and we want it to be legal and we are very, very excited."
DeGeneres and de Rossi have been together since 2004.
