After announcing that Bloom would be starring in the film about the siege of Sarajevo, Variety now reveals that actor Javier Bardem is in talks to join the cast.
Liam Neeson has also accepted a role in this film adaption of a book by Bill Carter entitled, "Fools Rush In".
Carter’s book covers his experiences in Sarajevo when he was working as a humanitarian aid during the military siege that lasted 43 months in the 1990s.
Filming will begin towards the end of the year in Sarajevo.
Javier Bardem can also be seen on the big screen in the latest Woody Allen flick, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, starting Friday, August 15.
