Alan Panettiere was released on $50 000 bond yesterday afternoon (August 11), after having been arrested for attacking his wife, reports People.
The star’s father was arrested Monday morning at the family’s West Hollywood home and spent ten hours behind bars. He was arrested for spousal abuse after a fight with his wife, Lesley Vogel.
A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that Panettiere struck Vogel once or twice in the jaw, leaving bruises. Another officer added that alcohol was a factor in the incident.
