Kanye West was hired by Jay-Z to produce his next album, Blueprint 3, reports NME.com.
DJ Mick Boogie has confirmed that Jay-Z has made a decision. Boogie wrote on his blog, "Kanye will indeed be producing most, if not all, of the album."
Originally, Timbaland was going to produce the entire disc, but Jay-Z has minimised the producer’s involvement in the project.
Blueprint 3 will be released in December.
