Variety reports that Jennifer Lopez has accepted a role in the romantic comedy, The Governess.
The Governess tells the story of a professional thief, who in order to prepare for her important bank robbery, must work as a nanny for three children of a rich widower. However, she will fall in love with the man, as well as become attached to his children. Will she stay on task or start her life all over again?
The screenplay was written by Kevin Wade (Maid in Manhattan) and Wendy Braff, while Don Roos is refining the script. Filming is set to begin in the fall in Massachusetts.
The last film in which Jennifer Lopez starred before she gave birth to her twins was E! Cantante in 2006.
The actress will also be featured in an independent film, written and directed by Don Roos, Love and Other Impossible Pursuits.
