Amy Winehouse Goes Back to the ER

Amy Winehouse had an adverse reaction to a new medication.

Amy Winehouse was taken to a hospital emergency room in London yesterday (July 28), but was released twelve hours later, reports People.

The singer’s latest illness was brought on by a new medication being used to help Winehouse during her struggle to get off of drugs.  Her representative, Chris Goodman, explained, "She was taking a new [medication] as part of her anti-drug treatment program. And it was an adverse reaction to that new drug. You have to try different things but unfortunately this was not the right one."

Winehouse was observed overnight, but was released from the medical centre twelve hours later.  "Amy is fine and she is on her way home," added Goodman.
