According to FemaleFirst, McConaughey, who became a father a few weeks ago, would like to set up his own record label.
The actor has already signed his first artist to his label. Reggae singer Mishka will be releasing his first album, Above the Bones, with McConaughey’s record label. The first single is Here Comes Da Train.
MConaughey is looking for a distribution deal with all the major labels for his own label.
The actor’s spokesperson stated that the star has in fact set up his company, but there has not been a date set for their debut release.
