Welsh singer Duffy seems to be the frontrunner in the battle of who will record the theme song for the film Quantum of Solace, set to hit theatres on November 7.
Duffy, who has just finished a tour, will probably be chosen, a source at Pinewood Studios told NME.
Many believed that the singer would be the one to record the song even though Winehouse was originally approached. However, Winehouse’s sessions with Mark Ronson ended and the pair didn’t receive an offer to record the song.
