According to a report by Fashionmag.fr, paintings by masters such as Picasso, Matisse and Andy Warhol will be auctioned.
Saint Laurent passed away on June 1, and he and his partner, Pierre Bergé, had accumulated an impressive collection of art over a period of 40 years. The two owned statuettes, Renaissance painting, and Art Deco furniture.
It is unknown when the auction will take place, but Christie’s has announced that a press conference will be held in September to diclose more details.
