According to FemaleFirst, the Weinstein Company may be responding to requests from fans and resurrecting the horror film.
Courteney Cox and her husband David Arquette have indicated that they would take on their roles as Gale Weathers and Dewey Riley, but this interest is not shared by Neve Campbell.
Campbell thinks that it is best to let the movie rest. "We were really lucky with the Scream films to actually make a good trilogy, but I think it was a good idea for me to stop there," stated the actress.
Scream 3 came out in 2000 and was not as successful as the former Scream films. The trilogy made $300 million at the box-office.
