Elton John Teams with Ben & Jerry’s

Sir Elton John now has his own flavour of ice cream made by Ben & Jerry’s.

Rolling Stone reports that in recognition of Elton John’s first concert in Vermont, the home town creamery, Ben & Jerry’s, has created a flavour in his honour.

The flavour was named Goodbye Yellow Brickle Road after the hit song, and is filled with decadent chocolate, peanut butter cookie dough, butter brickle and white chocolate chunks.

The limited edition ice cream will only be available in Vermont Ben & Jerry’s shops from July 18-25.  All of the profits from the ice cream sales will go to the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

Elton John now has something in common with other musicians such as John Lennon, Jerry Garcia and Dave Matthews, who have all had ice cream created in their honour.
