According to a report from FemaleFirst, Brad Pitt had the honour of cutting the umbilical cords, when his love Angelina Jolie gave birth to twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline on July 12.
The actress, who delivered in Nice, France by cesarian section, was conscious throughout the babies’ birth.
Brad, who was by her side, was calm and very moved when he cut the cords. The doctor poked a little fun, saying that the actor was his assistant.
The couple is overwhelmed with joy and the whole family is doing well.
At the moment, there is no word on when the actress will leave the hospital. "I don’t know. She will stay for a few days. You know, in Europe it isn’t like in the United States, where the patients go home after three days. They will stay a bit longer until everything is okay," stated Dr. Michel Sussman.
However, it is known that the couple has already agreed to sell their twins’ first photos for $11 million to an unidentified American magazine. The couple will donate the money to charity, as they did for the first photos of Shiloh, their first biological daughter.
