The medical team in charge of diagnosing the 24-year-old star is continuing their research.
Amy Winehouse’s spokesperson came to her defense, confirming that the singer is not suffering from tuberculosis. Chris Goodman explained, "She has a chest infection and she had a routine test for TB, which came back negative." The rep also clarified that the star did not spit up blood at the hospital, like The Sun tabloid had reported.
Within the next few days, Amy Winehouse will know whether she must cancel her upcoming shows, including one to honour Nelson Mandela on his 90th birthday. However, Winehouse will follow her doctors’ orders to avoid making further compromises with her health.
