On August 19, Staind will release their sixth studio album, entitled The Illusion of Progress, produced by Johnny K on the Atlantic Records label.
The debut single, Believe, will be released on North American radio stations on June 24.
The group from Massachusetts wanted the disc to take on a new sound. Aaron Lewis commented that Staind has taken a whole new approach in the making of The Illusion of Progress, compared to their last album, Chapter V, released in 2005.
