According to Variety, Kevin Bacon has joined the cast of My One and Only, which begins shooting in Baltimore.
Directed by Richard Loncraine (Wimbledon), and written by Charlie Peters (My Father the Hero), the film follows the young years of actor George Hamilton and his brother, who travelled the United States with their mother, Anne Deveraux (Renée Zellweger), in search of a wealthy man to take care of them.
Kevin Bacon will play a band leader that Anne Deveraux is trying to leave behind. Chris Noth, Nick Stahl and Logan Lerman will also star in the film.
Kevin Bacon can next be seen in the film Frost/Nixon, which will be released on December 5.
