Oasis Teams with Sony BMG

The British band Oasis has signed a deal with the record label Sony BMG.

According to a report by NME.com, Sony BMG will put out three albums for Oasis, the first of which will be released before the end of the year.

The Gallagher brothers and other members of Oasis are the owners of Big Brother Recordings, which will distribute the discs and share the profits with Sony BMG.

Alex McKinlay, one of the managers for Oasis, said, "This is an imaginative and exciting arrangement which will allow Big Brother to team up with the crème of both the independent and major sectors worldwide."

According to McKinlay, the agreement will allow Oasis to take advantage of every opportunity, while the music industry adjusts to the computer age.
