Amy Winehouse passed out in her London home yesterday (June 16), and was taken to a hospital, reported People.
The news was confirmed by a representative for the singer, who added that Winehouse’s father, Mitch, accompanied his daughter to the hospital.
Although she recovered quickly, the 24-year-old singer was examined to be sure she was okay. Her representative said, "She’s fine. It was a brief thing and they took her in as a precaution. Her dad drove her to a private hospital, but they’re unsure what caused it so they aren’t taking any chances."
Doctors at the Marylebone Clinic in London have not yet given Winehouse a diagnosis.
