Hedley Leaves MMVA with Hands Full

The band Hedley stole the spotlight last night (June 15) at the MuchMusic Video Awards.

The British Columbia band Hedley had a great night at the MuchMusic Video Awards, reports Cyberpresse.ca.

The song For The Nights I Can’t Remember won the award for Best Video and Best Director, while She’s So Sorry won awards for Best Cinematography and MuchLOUD Best Rock Video.

Singer Rihanna was honoured two times during the evening, leaving with the Most Watched Video on the MuchMusic.com site, for the song  Umbrella. She also won the award for Best International Video – Artist with the song, Please Don’t Stop The Music.

The event also marked the return of The New Kids on the Block, who made a well-received comeback performance, and the stage sizzled with numbers by Rihanna, Simple Plan, Girlicious and JabbaWockeeZ.

The MMVA was held at MuchMusic studios in Toronto.
