According to The Hollywood Reporter, the 69-year-old actor will play a terrorist in the seventh season of 24.
Voight will make his first appearance during the special, two-hour fall season prequel on the FOX network on November 23. Filming is currently taking place in South Africa.
The first show of the season will establish the plot for the new season, showing Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) going to Africa to help build houses for the poor. He then learns that he must find a way to stop a terrorist threatening a military leader in Africa.
The seventh season of 24 officially begins in January 2009, so Jon Voight will make his first appearance for the second half of the season.
