Due to conflicts that resulted over the screenplay writing for The Incredible Hulk, which hits theatres today, Edward Norton refused to attend the film’s premiere, reports Fox News.
A clause in the 38-year-old actor’s contract requires the star to attend various media functions to promote the film.
Norton is accusing Marvel and Universal Pictures of not giving him sufficient credit with the writing of the feature film. Zak Penn (X-Men: The Last Stand) wrote the screenplay, however, in July 2007, Norton made several modifications to the story and added dialogue to bring more substance to his character, Bruce Banner.
Luckily, Norton’s co-star Liv Tyler was at the film’s premiere. The actress also revealed that she is already under contract to star in two more Hulk films.
