Solange Knowles Goes Motown

Solange Knowles has unveiled her latest video, which was greatly inspired by Diana Ross.

The Internet site PerezHilton.com released a video by Beyoncé Knowles’ kid sister, Solange, for the song I Decided.

The song is the first single from her album, Sol-Angel and the Hadley Street Dreams, produced in collaboration with Geffen Records and Pharrell Williams.

Ron Fair from Geffen Records said about the  21-year-old star’s new music, "It’s not what people would expect from her. The music is more eclectic and international. She’s in her own lane. It’s a touch of retro with beautiful R&B songs and influences of early Natalie Cole and Carole King."

Sol-Angel and the Hadley Street Dreams, set for a release in August 2008, is Solange’s second album after Solo Star, which Columbia released in 2003.
