TMZ reported that actress Tatum O’Neal was arrested yesterday (June 1) in New York for possession of crack and cocaine.
A spokesperson for the New York Police confirmed to the Website that Ryan O’Neal’s daughter was arrested while purchasing drugs on the Lower East Side, which is where she lives. In addition to illegal substances, the police also found the 44-year-old star’s crack pipe.
O’Neal is allegedly being detained at the moment, while waiting to be arraigned by a judge.
In her 2004 autobiography, Tatum O’Neal wrote about her struggles with drug addiction over the years.
