Thanks to its new ice cream flavour Imagine Whirled Peace, Ben & Jerry’s can promote world peace, one spoonful at a time.
The ice cream is made with caramel and chocolate-shaped peace signs, paying homage to the late ex-Beatle. A portion of the sales will go to the non-profit organisation, Lennon Estate and Peace One Day, that aims to establish September 21 as a universal cease-fire day.
"When Ben & Jerry’s decided to engage in a campaign about peace, we couldn’t think of a better person to exemplify the message than John Lennon," expressed the American company’s co-founder, Jerry Greenfield.
