According to FemaleFirst, Playboy magazine’s founder, Hugh Hefner, was impressed by Robert Downey Jr.’s performance in the film Iron Man, and wants the actor to play him in a film covering Playboy enterprises.
Downey was very flattered by Hefner’s idea, but affirmed that he must finish his current film project, and that he also has to read the script and find out who will be directing the tentative film.
The filming date is unknown, however the producers intend that the film crew will head to Chicago next summer.
In the meantime, moviegoers can see Downey as Tony Stark in Iron Man and in the upcoming comedy Tropic Thunder.
