Actor Patrick Swayze, who is currently combating cancer, and his wife Lisa Niemi renewed their marriage vows, reported Starpulse.com. The couple exchanged vows on their New Mexico ranch in front of a small group of friends.
The actor was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in early 2008, and has been fighting for his life ever since.
Swayze and Niemi will be celebrating their 33rd wedding anniversary on June 12, and it seems as though the star is living in the moment. A source said, "He is refusing to give up, but right now he’s living for today."
The source insisted that the ceremony was very special for the couple. "It was very important to him (Swayze) to express his love and commitment to Lisa. They both mean the world to one another."
