The Smashing Pumpkins have new projects lined up for this year, including a documentary DVD, reports PitchFork.
During an interview, Billy Corgan revealed that the group was working on a DVD, which will be a documentary based on their shows performed at The Fillmore in San Francisco. The band wants to start filming the documentary in the fall, before getting started with their new album at the beginning of next year. The group also plans to release some new demos by Christmas, and possibly even a new single.
As far as concerts, the Smashing Pumpkins announced a series of shows for their 20th anniversary in September for New York, Los Angeles and Chicago. The group invited special guests to appear at each show.
