Joaquin Phoenix couldn’t make it to Cannes for the premier of his new film, Two Lovers, after he was hospitalized for stomach problems, reports FemaleFirst.
The actor was unable to walk the red carpet alongside his co-star, Gwyneth Paltrow, at the Cannes Film Festival on Monday (May 19), because he was extremely dehydrated, explained director James Gray.
Phoenix was very disappointed that he missed his premier while he was stuck at the hospital suffering from dehydration and severe vomiting.
