According to Variety, George Clooney has decided to produce the film Men Who Stare at Goats, and will be playing the main character. The film will be directed by his Smoke House production company partner, Grant Heslov.
The film will be an adaptation of the book "First Earth Battalion" by the British journalist, Jon Ronson. The book explores the US Army’s paranormal studies, and the film’s title refers to the theory that a man can kill a goat by staring at it.
The screenplay for Men Who Stare at Goats was written by Peter Straughan (How to Lose Friends and Alienate People).
We can see George Clooney along with Brad Pitt and Tilda Swinton on September 12 in the film Burn After Reading.
