The Black Parade is Dead!, is an introduction to the band’s promotional tour The Black Parade, reported Billboard.com.
The DVD will be released on June 24 in collaboration with Warner Bros. Records.
The Black Parade Is Dead! was recorded in Mexico on October 7, 2007, and in New Jersey October 24, 2008. The CD and first-time DVD includes 13 songs recorded in Mexico. The second DVD features 18 filmed performances from New Jersey.
A special edition CD/DVD will be available in a gift set enclosed in a pine coffin. Inside there is a hand-painted mask made by a band member and a death certificate.
