Radiohead’s former record label, EMI, would like to release an album with the band’s greatest hits, reported FemaleFirst.
Singer Thom Yorke stated that this launch is rather futile. He said, "We haven’t really had any hits so what exactly is the purpose?"
Radiohead’s contract with EMI ended last year, and the company will be launching Radiohead Best Of on June 2. It will include a DVD with 20 videos, nine of which have never been shown.
Fans were able to download the group’s last album, In Rainbows, while giving a voluntary contribution. It was released under the record label XL Recordings, which also launched Thom Yorke’s solo album, The Eraser.
