The Scottish band The Vaselines will reunite to perform in concert in two festivals this summer, reports Billboard.com.
Original band members, Eugene Kelly and Frances McKee, will perform at Tigerfest in Scotland on May 16, as well as at the festival marking the 20th anniversary of Sub Pop Records, in July.
According to a source, the group will be adding additional concert dates to their list.
The Vaselines’ performance at the 20th anniversary of Sub Pop Records, which takes place on July 12-13 in Seattle, will be the group’s first concert in America.
In 1992, Sub Pop Records launched The Way of the Vaselines, an album featuring 19 recorded tracks.
