The 38-year-old diva and rapper Nick Cannon have refused to comment on rumours of their engagement. However, a member of the 27-year-old rapper’s family told E! that the two stars are already married. Linda Carter said, "Yes, we know. He called us and told us all about it." She added, "We are happy for him. If that is what he wants, then we are happy for him."
The family member refused to give any details about the wedding, although the secret ceremony was reportedly held in Carey’s home in Eleuthera, an island in the Bahamas, according to the New York Post. The paper also reports that there was no prenuptial agreement between the two.
This would be Carey’s second marriage. She was previously married to the president of Columbia Records, Tommy Mottola.
