The National Enquirer reported that the 15-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, Bobbi Kristina, tried to cut her mother before attempting to take her own life by slitting her wrists.
A family member, Ann Davis, stated that a few days before her birthday, Bobbi Kristina attacked her mother with a sharp object, which happened before she tried to hurt herself.
According to several sources, after the suicide attempt the young girl sought psychiatric help in an Atlanta hospital.
