A New York judge tossed out a lawsuit accusing Jennifer Lopez of stealing his television series idea, reported Starpulse.com.
Jack Bunick filed the suit in a Manhattan court, stating that the dramatic series South Beach in 2006, which had been produced by Lopez, was too similar to the script of the pilot episode entitled South Beach Miami, which he had written in 1999.
Judge Richard Berman dismissed the lawsuit Wednesday (April 30), arguing that the evidence was inadequate and that his reason was not grounds for a trial.
The show produced by Jennifer Lopez aired and was cancelled after only eight episodes, because of its low viewer ratings.
