After one month of rumours that the singer may be making another appearance on the show How I Met Your Mother, it has been confirmed that Spears will be making a comeback. The episode will air on CBS on May 12, reported FemaleFirst.
The 26-year-old singer will play Abby again, a receptionist in a dermatologist’s office.
The news of Spears’ second appearance was announced by Craig Thomas, producer and co-creator of the sitcom. Thomas stated, "We’re all so thrilled to have Britney joining us once again."
Spears’ appearance on the show made it achieve its best ratings ever.
The second episode featuring Spears was shot yesterday (April 28). In this episode, Spears has two characters, Ted and Barney, fighting over her.
