While promoting the comedy Baby Mama, where she plays a pregnant woman, Poehler announced that she will be a mother in the fall.
The 36-year-old actress’ spokesperson, Lewis Kay, told People that Poehler and her husband, comedian Will Arnett, are expecting a child.
It is the first child for the couple who have been married since 2003.
Arnett, 37, is currently shooting the comedy When in Rome opposite Kristen Bell.
