Amy Winehouse’s Husband Stays Behind Bars

Blake Fielder-Civil, Amy Winehouse’s husband, must wait until June 2 before his trial takes place.

While his release from prison was expected to be in May, Blake Fielder-Civil, Amy Winehouse’s husband, has been given an extended jail sentence until at least June 9, reports People.

Fielder-Civil, who was jailed for attacking a person, could not be released, because Judge David Radford affirmed that it was impossible to hold his hearings earlier. The trial will begin on June 2 and could last up to six weeks.

At the hearing held today (April 25), singer Amy Winehouse was not present, nor was Blake’s mother.

The only ones supporting Blake in court were his father and a pretty 21-year-old blonde, Sophie Schandorff. Schandorff, who has been described as Blake’s best friend, shouted out, "I love you," before specifying to the media "As a friend."
