FemaleFirst reports that the spokesperson for Cameron Diaz is denying rumours that the actress had been hospitalized for the stress incurred as a result of her father Emilio’s recent death.
Ashton Kutcher, Diaz’s co-star in What Happens in Vegas, told photographers that the star needed medical attention.
The actress’ spokesperson said that Kutcher had been misinformed and clarified, "These reports are absolutely untrue. She has taken time off to be with her family and plans to return to work next week."
Emilio, the actress’ father, died at the age of 58 on April 15 from pneumonia. The family mentioned that he was an extraordinary father who was dynamic, lived life to the fullest, and loved to smile.
