After going through a difficult year, Amy Winehouse is being honoured, after she received three nominations for the Ivor Novello awards. These are given annually to song writers in England.
The nominations come as a delight for the 24-year-old singer because they highlight her work and talent. She confessed, "I’m overwhelmed to be nominated three times, let alone twice in the same category. It’s come at a great time too."
At the same time, the star also announced her return to the studio and confirmed that she is working on new material after the worldwide success of her album Back to Black.
