At a hearing held yesterday (April 16) in Los Angeles, Spears’ former confidant, Sam Lutfi, agreed to keep his distance from the star until July 31, reported People.
Lutfi had a restraining order placed against him in February, after Spears’ mother accused him of drugging her 26-year-old daughter.
According to experts, a restraining order could be extended for up to five years. In the meantime, Spears’ father, Jamie, has control of the singer’s estate.
Another hearing is scheduled for today (April 17) regarding Spears’ estate.
